The Heart Challenge Scripts Selections
Congratulations. Out of 39 scripts submitted, those below have been selected to participate in The Heart Challenge.
That means that you secured a screening spot in the premiere event in February, as long as you submit your complete film by February 3rd.
It also means that your film is an important part of the OIF Screening and Awards’ event. The last event was great, lets keep that momentum as much as possible, get the right person for the specific part, interesting locations, production design (pay attention to background and foreground colors, picture composition), do your best with audio, in general, challenge yourself to make the best film possible! There are plenty in the group to assist.
As a collaborative group, we expect to see collaboration. Post casting calls, allow actors to audition for you (even online) before you select “the one”, embrace new crew members that may add to the overall production or learn from it. When collaborating with others, you can learn what to do better as well as what NOT to do.
Count down begins now. Feel free to reach out to whomever tagged themselves in the poll. Post a cast/crew call, use your logline when posting. If you don’t know where to start, pair with a producer or director to get things going.
We choose the scripts based on seniority, your past contributions and stories. If your script wasn’t selected, we suggest you help others this time around and submit for the next one.
