First general meeting held

Yesterday, on June 7th, 2018, OIF held its first General Meeting of the year.

The general meeting immediately followed the first OIF workshop.  Cecil Battiste conducted an engaging screen-writing workshop at the Valencia Community College Campus  in Winter Park. More workshops will be posted.

Several new proposals were presented to the group which were whole-hardheartedly endorsed by the attendees.

Look for news to follow soon regarding the roadmap and new group extensions that were introduced at the meeting.  A lively conversation ensued towards the end of the meeting where clarification on our goals and commitment to the growth of the film industry in Florida were solidified.

Post adjournment, about half the attendees continued the conversation at Marlow’s Tavern in Winter Park to further focus on upcoming events, eager to help bring OIF to the next level.
