Welcome to our Facebook group!

Our group is mainly focused on collaborative productions, providing hands-on experience, networking, reel footage, IMDB credits and most importantly a fun  atmosphere for our members.

Our community is very active, your involvement is welcome. Anyone with any level of experience can find a project or role to participate in.  Members have gained prospects or landed film work due to their involvement in our group.

If you live outside of the Central Florida Region but can still make it to a project, let us know so that you can be considered for membership.  Script writers and editors outside of the CFL area are welcome to join in remotely, just let us know you are interested.

We ask that you take a moment to read the guidelines below regarding our Closed Facebook Group.  Currently, that is where most of our activities are posted and followed.

We’ll be adding more features to this website to enhance member participation.  If you have any questions, suggestions, thoughts, ideas or concerns, feel free to friend and contact any admin on FB or use our contact form here.

Membership Guidelines for our Facebook Group Page

Our Facebook group page is strictly reserved for  conversations regarding OIF related activities.

All posts must be approved by an admin.  Admins may block individuals and posts that do not respect these principles, or are found to be repeat offenders.  Priority is  given to members that are or have been active participants in any OIF production.

The  guidelines below help us focus on those members that are serious about being in the film industry; those that wish to mentor, those that wish to learn and network with like-minded people in our region:

• Feel free to introduce yourself and say hi to the group.
• Involvement is encouraged.  The more you participate, the more you will gain!
• Interest or expertise in any film-industry related role, from marketing to acting, to editing is welcome.
• Refrain from posting self-promotions to the group as these will likely not be approved (.ie. “Here’s my Vimeo Page, please follow me”; however, admins will likely approve status or achievement announcements by active members (i.e. you have a new part in an upcoming project)
• Please refrain from promoting products, unsanctioned services, or unrelated productions.
• Use our Facebook Page, where we post public announcements, if you wish to post promotional items.
• No sales pitches to members (casting services, etc).  We will have a dedicated area on our website for offers.
• No trolling or harassing other members in any way.
• To protect your privacy, please do not post personal phone numbers or emails.  Initial contact can be made via a comment, “friending” or via this website.
• Have fun!

 

Practice makes perfect and experience is something gained, so get in there and participate!
