Yesterday evening, 8 of 10 committee members made it to the first Awards Committee meeting, held at Cooper’s Hawk restaurant and winery on I-Drive; where following a vivacious discussion several issues were deliberated and resolutions were made. Congratulations to the members for helping to foster creativity, unity and collaborative film-making!
Yesterday, on June 7th, 2018, OIF held its first General Meeting of the year. The general meeting immediately followed the first OIF workshop. The first Workshop series being offered to OIF members is emerging June 2018 as a screen writing group. This workshop will help writers through the process of screenwriting by sharing experiences with their peers.
The next OIF Challenge is on! This is an official OIF Script-to-Screen Challenge. All scripts must be an original story written by an OIF member. Each short can be up to 10 minutes in length. Do you qualify? Will your script make it into the Challenge? Give it a shot, this is your chance…
The 2018 Spring Flix Challenge selections were screened at Universal Studios yesterday. The event was a tremendous success, as the films were shown to an audience completely filling the theater.
